They’re passionate about helping you grow stronger in body, mind, and spirit while creating a positive, faith-filled environment where you’ll feel supported, challenged, and at home — this is our family.

What is NASM?
NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) is one of the most respected fitness certification programs in the world. NASM-certified trainers are educated in safe, effective training methods, proper movement, and injury prevention.

Toriano

Trainer

Toriano is a devoted husband and father of three girls with a lifelong passion for fitness. His love for basketball earned him a full scholarship to play college basketball at Southeastern Oklahoma State University. As a former college athlete, he deepened his commitment to fitness after his basketball career to stay in shape. Toriano takes great joy in helping others become better versions of themselves, inspiring and guiding them on their fitness journeys.

Veronica

Trainer

Veronica is a dedicated fitness instructor, loving wife, and mother of three. Her fitness journey began in 2015, motivated by her struggle to lose pre-baby weight. Through learning about proper nutrition and fitness, she transformed her own health and well-being. Inspired by her success and eager to help others, Veronica became a fitness instructor in 2019. She is passionate about guiding others toward healthier lifestyles and empowering them to achieve their fitness goals.

Griffin

Trainer

My name is Griffin Ramsey! Or also known as "Coach G". I was Born in Plano and raised in McKinney. I played soccer competitively from the age of 5 till I was a senior in high school. I graduated from the University of North Texas in Denton with a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology. That all being said, I've been in the realm of sports and fitness for many years. Here at Fit Body I plan to assist and guide anyone and everyone in reaching their goals. Along with those goals, I strive to help each and every person I connect with to develop a healthy, persistent, and beneficial well-being lifestyle to continue these goals.

Andreas Jermaine

Trainer

Andreas Jermaine has made personal fitness and training his life’s passion. He has used exercise as a way to destress, maintain his mind/ body connection, and age gracefully. He has acquired certifications from the National Academy of Sports Medicine and continues to diligently educate himself about the study of human movement, performance, and function. His passion and drive culminated into a healthy lifestyle that has allowed for him to help others gain a foothold on their own personal fitness goals. Andreas has trained many individuals, has headed group classes, and has taught live instruction from his idea of establishing an arsenal of movement, which in turn led to his creation of Arsenal of Movement Versatility Training. He is ready to take his vision to the next level and offer his services as a Fitness Professional. Andreas is eager to bring his skills, strengths, talents, and abilities to a community of like-minded individuals who are also prepared to build on a quality lifestyle. Domonique is a passionate wife and mother who fuels her day with fitness. Since joining the Fitbody Family in 2014, she has been a source of motivation and positivity. As a coach at Fitbody, Domonique dedicates her time to training children in various sports and leading vibrant Cardio dance classes. Her unwavering commitment to promoting an active lifestyle makes her a beloved and inspiring member of the Fitbody community.

As an athlete throughout high school and college, I always enjoyed sports, but was never a “gym” person. I found it boring. After college, I began my career in the business world, and like many of us, I found it hard to stay in shape. With no sports to play, poor eating habits, and constant travel, my health and fitness took a major decline. Suddenly, I found myself in my mid-30s—overweight and out of shape.

In 2016, I decided to make a change, mostly to support my wife in her weight loss journey. I changed my eating habits through portion control and started walking. In 12 months, I lost 50 lbs and reached my lowest weight since high school, and I felt INCREDIBLE.

That success gave me motivation to set a new goal—fitness. I wanted to get stronger and leaner, but how? Not being a “gym” person, I knew I needed something more. I needed motivation and accountability. I needed a place where I could be coached. I found that at McKinney Fitbody Bootcamp.

I joined Fitbody in 2018 and was instantly hooked! I loved the workouts, I loved the coaches, and I loved the challenge. While hard in the beginning, I continued to make progress with the help of the coaches. In a short time, my fitness level improved. I became stronger and was able to do things I never thought I could do!

Through Fitbody, my passion for fitness grew. In 2022, I became an Ambassador, which provided the opportunity to assist and coach from time to time. This fueled my ongoing passion to become a trainer and learn more about health and fitness so I can live a long healthy life.

I love coaching and motivating individuals to reach goals. You are capable of so much more—all you have to do is try!

Karen

Trainer

Karen is a dedicated gym instructor with a passion for encouraging people to achieve their best and feel comfortable in their fitness journey. Her love for the mind, body, and spirit connection began during her college years while working at a gym. Since then, she has consistently incorporated fitness into her life, firmly believing that regular exercise is crucial for maintaining a positive spirit.

This gym has an awesome community, with challenging workouts, knowledgeable & motivating coaches, variety of equipment, awesome body weight scanner and a fun environment. The workouts vary and you’ll never get bored. Their 8 wk commit more challenge helped me achieve my pre-baby weight after 9 years of trying, 4 inches off my waist, and achieve consistency in workouts and nutrition. Highly recommend!

Not only my appearance but my strength. The coaches are so encouraging and help make sure that you're doing the exercises correctly and allow modifications when needed. They are so encouraging. I have been coming to Holy Grit Fitness since the end of March of this year and I have lost almost 20lbs already! The coaches are awesome and will help you modify the workouts if you need them (my knees aren’t the greatest, so they give me options so I don’t hurt myself) Everyone that comes is great, they are all friendly and I have never felt out of place since joining. I am so glad that I found them through a Mom’s challenge back in March and highly recommend Holy Grit Fitness if you want to work on yourself, and make great connections as well!

ABOUT OWNERS

Wendy Smith and Stefanie Mwaura are single mothers, best friends, and women of faith with a shared mission: to create a place where everyone is welcome and faith is foundational. Guided by their faith and trust in God, they embraced the call to lead this gym with purpose, heart, and intention.

Rooted in three core values—Faith, Fitness, and Family—their vision goes far beyond workouts. What began as membership grew into a deep sense of belonging, as they were drawn to the gym’s warm, family-centered atmosphere and life-giving community. When the opportunity to become owners arose, they said yes, led by their love for the people and the mission God placed before them.

Today, Wendy and Stefanie are dedicated to cultivating a supportive, uplifting environment where faith is honored, bodies are strengthened, and relationships are built. Their close friendship and shared experiences as single mothers shape their leadership, creating a space where every person feels seen, valued, and encouraged—no matter where they are on their journey
